How to Watch ‘Suburgatory’ Online Outside of the USA

Suburgatory is a satire and sitcom TV series which debuted in September’ 2011. The series was created by Emily Kapnek for the ABC Network and is produced by Piece of Pie Productions along with Warner Bros. Television. Suburgatory has garnered an excellent response from the audience as well as the critics (IMDB rating of 7.1 and Metacritic score of 70) and the series was even nominated for Teen Choice, People’s Choice and Critics’ Choice awards for its first two seasons. Due to the popularity of the show, ABC renewed the series for its third season in 2013 which is set to premiere mid-season.

Suburgatory Storyline And Plot

George Altman (Jeremy Sisto) is a New York based architect and a single father who only wants the best things to happen to his teenage daughter, Tessa Altman (Jane Levy). When George finds a box of condoms in Tessa’s room, he decides to move away from the New York City to an apartment in the suburbs. Although Tessa is not happy with the move, the relocation also gives her a chance to get close to her father.

Suburgatory Broadcast Schedule And Availability

Suburgatory is telecast on Wednesday nights at 8:30 P.M. on the ABC channel. The show’s episodes can also be viewed online through the official page of Suburgatory on the ABC portal (abc.go.com/shows/suburgatory). However, the online episodes of the series are not yet available outside USA due to licensing issues. When international viewers or even US expats and frequent fliers try to watch the series online, they only see the error message – “You appear to be outside the United States or its territories. Due to international rights agreements, we only offer this video to viewers located within the United States and its territories”.

How ABC Blocks Suburgatory Online And How To Bypass All Location Based Restrictions?

ABC has partnered with many channels to distribute Suburgatory outside United States (City Channel in Canada, Warner Channel in Latin America, Cosmopolitan TV in Spain, ProSiebenSat.1 in Germany and E4 in UK). As per the content sharing agreements signed by ABC and its partners, the channel does not have the rights to broadcast the show outside US.
