How To Unlock Castle From Online Outside of the US

Castle is a police procedural and crime drama television series that premiered in March’ 2009. The series was developed by Andrew Marlowe for the ABC Network and is produced by ABC Studios and Beacon Pictures. Castle has received mostly favorable reviews from the viewers (IMDB rating 8.1) and its past seasons have even won People’s Choice, PRISM and Shorty awards. The series has inspired several novels and ebooks and it has been renewed for a sixth season in 2013.

Castle Storyline And Plot

The story of Castle revolves around its lead characters; Richard Castle (played by Nathan Fillion) and Kate Beckett (played by Stana Katic). Richard is a famous writer who is suffering from writer’s block while Kate is a detective at New York Police Department. After Richard is questioned for a homicide that is almost identical to a murder portrayed in one of his novels, he must work with Kate to get to the bottom of the mystery. Initially Kate is not happy with the prospect of working with Richard but as the time passes, the two of them start liking each other.

Castle Availability

Castle is broadcast on Monday nights at 10 PM on the ABC TV channel. The series is also available for online viewing through the official ABC portal (abc.go.com). However, fans of the series cannot watch the online episodes of the series from outside United States due to licensing restrictions. Even if someone tries to watch Castle from outside USA, he/she will merely see the message – “You appear to be outside the United States or its territories. Due to international rights agreements, we only offer this video to viewers located within the United States and its territories”. These type of location based restrictions severely limit the entertainment options available to expats, travelers and fans of the show who are based outside US.
